i agree with you completely, and i believe this was fulham's intentions all a long, they're not playing fair. they probably knew our further transfer actions were somewhat dependent on the johnson sale (don't jump on me for saying this ghost, obviously they'd like to know exactly how much they have before they target), so they're delaying as much as possible.

its easily possible they bid high to get their foot in the door, knowing full well they could get their physio to find something he could flag so they could knock down the price for the deal. if you look hard enough at anyone you can always find something wrong.

call me a conspiracy theorist or a loony or whatever the [Poor language removed] you want but to me its clear fulham are dragging out this deal to screw our transfer dealings so we'll be less of a threat to them next season, which imo will make it all the more sweet when we finally break the curse and snot them at the cottage.

i agree - hopefully our credible threat with them is we can call their bluff, go ahead and keep AJ, still buy moutinho, and have a couple pounds left for a cut rate holding midfielder...
