Missed off the league bit, but surely you knew what I meant. Point is he’s a one trick pony averages 3 prem goals a season through his whole career, spent the majority of his career in the lower reaches of the prem. the one top club he played for, got rid after 2 seasons

Yeah, and he won't be fit before then. And even if is to be, we're hardly in the position to be giving old, crocked players a run-out in these final games to build their sharpness up.
Wouldn't be shocked if he announces retirement in the summer, his injury would be horrendous for a player 10 years younger to come back from. He might just be wanting to get himself back and able to play, just so he can kind of go out on his own terms.
Will probably get some form of farewell and I think everybody will be nice about it, seems a popular member of the team and I think fans such as myself (furious that ed him) concede he did contribute some good moments before getting hurt.

Of course I knew what you meant. Unsure how he will be when he returns but I think a very useful player with a great attitude to have in your squad. Where we are anyway!
