Firstly, its been well publicised what he asked Ancelotti, you can google it but, and i paraphrase;

"Mr Ancelotti, could you please tell me what i need to improve on to be able to get into the team"?

Not what youre accusing him of at all is it?

Also, no one has called him "the next superstar". Anyone watching him this season would say hes behing James and Richarlison for the wide roles.

It makes no sense that hes not started the last 2 games with those two players out, not least because he has pace and can take the ball forward.

I haven’t acted all high and mighty mate. It’s my opinion I appreciate everyone else‘s opinion and will give my two cents if I disagree. Take it for what you want I don’t care really.

The manager works with him day in day out, he knows his weaknesses and his positives, Ancelotti being a top coach with a winning mentality isn’t gonna think “I tell you what Gomes is a good player but Gordon is better, but because he came into my office and asked about his role at the club I’m gonna drop him and make an example out of him and leave him out of the team.”

If you look at the other younger players it’s not uncommon for him to leave certain players out. It’s just a conspiracy.

Well, thing is if we had a vote here for our top 3 wide players this season it would be Richarlison/James at the top and 3rd Gordon.

Its nonsensical how Walcott (now gone), Iwobi and Bernard have got ahead of him and now even Sigurdsson and Gomes as well.

Bernard in for James

Im no Bernard fan but hes the closest to a flair player we have after james

It’s not even really about who the better player is, it’s about what player we need at the moment. We’re so lacking in pace and mobility, attacking drive and intent, the player we needed was Gordon. That’s not to say he’s better than Gomes or Siggi or Iwobi or whoever but Richarlison is out, the rest of our midfield/attack are plodders, he’s the only one with pace who is direct and could do a similar role (albeit far from the quality) of Richie. Must be pulling his hair out watching that turgid [Poor language removed], knowing the team needs pace and he’s sat watching everyone else brought on before him.
