From the purely financial perspective, it's probably going to end up one of the most profitable moves we've made should we want to sell him in the future (especially to a big club on the continent). In the meantime he is (relatively) happy, his agent is happy and he is getting playing time and experience.

Most of the big clubs on the continent are struggling financially, hence the loan deal. So I can't really agree with that. We did PSG a favour with no obvious benefit that I can see, especially not short term where we are very stretched and having to use Tosun!. I'd be surprised we get our 25m back next summer.

No, because you're being a tedious bore, constantly spouting the same flawed arguments and refusing to pay attention or directly respond to other people's points, with a smidgen of goal post moving. Pretty standard Davek fare.

I have directly responded to everyone who said anything. Barring a misunderstanding of where someone was coming from to which I apologised for.

I don't rate Gordon yet, he has time to prove me wrong but as of yet, he hasn't peaked my interest. There is no goalpost moving, that's just what I thought.

Didn't realise so many heads would fall off

Ancelotti and co clearly preferred Calvert-Lewin, so Kean didn't get a look in.

You've then said clearly Calvert-Lewin is the better player?

DCL is indeed currently the better player though at the time when Kean could have been given time on the pitch (particularly after the restart) he was awful. However like many others I was not wanting to see Kean replace DCL, but to play alongside him.
 

If DCL is rested against Leicester, got a feeling Gordon will start on the left in a hopeful repeat of his good performance against them back in the summer.

I know this is a Gordon post but.

What we have done is kept his value or even improved it from what we bought him at.

Dont think if we looked to sell this summer we would of got £27m back, now i think PSG would love to offer us that
