He may be young but after months of listening to people call Ancelotti a cretin for not picking him I expected more.

Was gutted for Gordon, he didn't do much and looked nervy at times. Nonetheless, he's young and still shows promise, at least to me. Would love to see him continue to come off the bench and get time. Only way he "develops"

Thought he offered better balance than Richarlison, especially going forward. He passed it well, didn't give it away, and didn't dive or run up blind alleys like Richarlison is prone to doing.

Send him on loan. I’m glad Carlo at least gave him a shot today even if it was throwing him to the wolves so to speak, but I don’t want to see him rot on the bench because he was plopped into a game after never seeing the pitch for months and expected to create magic. He needs to get experience

People were actually calling for him to be sacked. The lad may come good but he didn’t look ready. Bernard come on and gave us more. Carlo sees him near enough everyday in training and people think he’s purposely leaving him out because Gordon wanted a word with him about game time.

Smith Rowe came in for Arsenal and did extremely well.

Have to take your chances at this level.

Needs to go out on loan to a Championship side who try to play football.
