People were actually calling for him to be sacked. The lad may come good but he didn’t look ready. Bernard come on and gave us more. Carlo sees him near enough everyday in training and people think he’s purposely leaving him out because Gordon wanted a word with him about game time.

Same with nkounkou. It got to the stage it was all they had left to bash ancelloti over the head with.

Doesnt get mins for ages and is thrown in for a start in dreadful conditions where he barely got the ball.

Thought he was ok...no worse than any of our other wide players (bar james) for most of the season.

Hard coming in cold like that I guess, he's played about 30 mins at this level since the start of the season.

A loan might be best in January, certainly would have benefited him more than being in limbo between the first team and U23s like he has been since September.

Idk why we’re making excuses here. He was average at best. It’s clear why he isn’t being picked. Wasn’t awful, but not being awful isn’t the bar. Didn’t do enough with his chance and will likely be dropped as a result. Still got a bright future but for now he doesn’t play much because he isn’t there yet. Bernard was a massive improvement on him today.
