Anthony Gordon is having a great season for such a young inexperienced player but he will have plenty of poor days until he can add consistency with age and experience.
For me, Stevie G was without doubt the best midfielder of his era, not in the world, cos Zidane was a thing and the 2 lads at Barca, but he was not only a great player, but he dragged Liverpool to every trophy they won.
We would sacrifice kittens for a player with even 2% of his talent and drive.
Scholes was great and all that, but hes massively overrated, Lampard and Gerrard were levels above for me, I would put Roy Keane ahead of Scholes and even Vierra.
The boy Gordon had a bad game last time out, so did the whole team, but hes been great the last few weeks and hopefully he kicks on and shows his talent.

It's funny, I thought he moved like Gerrard away at Tottenham a couple of years ago.
If he becomes half the player Gerrard was, he will be a fantastic footballer. I don't think hes's as good in the tackle as Gerrard, but has some of the other attributes.
