I think he will be some player personally.
He’s on his own out there and still relatively young

My first player on the team sheet. Don’t understand the negativity towards him. Hope he proves some of the numpties on here wrong.

How can we be proven wrong when the bar is set so low?

He should be coming on for twenty minute cameos when the other teams are tired. A sad indictment of the squad he is basically undroppable.

Baines was a PL player when we signed him and Jagielka had played his most recent season in the PL so if he counts then so do Godfrey and Doucoure.

I agree on Gordon, too much of his work is done in areas that aren't particularly dangerous, we need to change that.

That's the next step/challenge for Gordon. His numbers have to get better. I actually liked that he took so shots on against Boreham Wood but the execution has to be better. I loved that cut in from the left V Newcastle as well. But he needs to add more goals/assists to his game

There was a period against Newcastle where he was almost unplayable for their right back. But he needs more game changing moments in the final third.

I don't think he's there yet I agree, but who else could play?
Hes got a lot of game experience this season is a positive I suppose.

He's, however, competing with Alex Iwobi and... no one, really. The bar isn't low, it's nonexistant. Just need to turn up and be 'alright'.

Hopefully next season, now that he's had a lot of game time, he'd be a better PL player.

It's probably fair. But him not wilting under the pressure of those around him is a big plus.

For me, he should be used exclusively as an impact player from the bench to add a bit of pace/energy at the end of games as teams, including ours tire.

My worry with him, is we become one dimensional in trying to play through a player who hasn't proven he's capable of an end result yet. It's not ideal/fair to be so reliant on him either.

Pickford

Patterson - Keane - Branthwaite - Godfrey

Allan - Doucoure

Gray - Alli - Richarlison

Calvert-Lewin

With Gordon coming on every game - pushing Gray/Alli.

Most will likely have Gordon ahead of an unfit looking Gray, and Alli - but for me, Alli is proven in that we know he can score and assist in good numbers in this league and I'd like to see him given a run behind Calvert-Lewin.

He has shown more quality than Richarlison has in a long time.
