before you know it he will 29 years old and people will be saying he still needs more time

Haaland and Bellingham are unfair

both super talented, managed well by their teams. I think for only the last year we have a set up that is finally starting to manage young players well again.

It's a crazy comparison, he is never gonna be those levels, but he can still be a good player.. Its too black and white

if a club values that player at 80 mil then he should be at those levels no?

I was at the game on Sunday and he contributed nothing at all, not a decisive pass, not a run at their defence, not a shot on goal.
Stop making excuses for him, he's not 17, I hope he turns into a world class player, but he is offering nothing currently.

He got bullied on Sunday, by Utd, men against a boy, he has to up his game or shouldn't be anywhere near a starting place.

Diving although scum, servex its purpose before VAR, now it's utterly pointless and has a negative affect anyway because even if you genuinely have been fouled if you have the rep of a diver you won't get key decisions.

VAR still allows dives to stand and dives outside the box aren't reviewed and still matter. If you don't dive you're choosing to be a worse player. That's the game.

He's the same age as Onana and deserves the same patience while he is developing as a player.

You are though. You'll lose possession more and draw fewer fouls. Both of these are negatives.
