Player Valuation: £35m
30m is a great deal when you consider that Demarai Gray is a 2m footballer and is on a completely different level to Gordon.

With our squad full of champions league players we should walk the championshipStill think Gordon is a potentially CL standard player. No arguments at all that he's been poor on the whole this season and some of that is on him, but some of that is down to poor coaching too. He's absolutely rapid, but the way we play is so slow and never gives him the opportunities to use his pace in behind teams.
I don't understand why we hold players who come through our academy to such a higher standard than others but Gordon is absolutely the latest. Seen people question his attitude and that's laughable IMO - it seems to be based on a perception of his body language.
Having said all of the above, I'd accept that if Newcastle or someone came in with a £30 million offer now, we'd have to take it - he isn't contributing this season anywhere near enough, we have Gray who plays the same role and Danjuma coming in who does the same and we are desperate for funds to give us the flexibility to make the signings which we need.

Both brain dead when it come to awareness of what to actually do
Considerably better output? A pl record of 1 goal every 11 games and an assist record of 1 every 13 games and he’s 26, 27 at the end of the season.Gray has a considerably better output but I agree that doesn't mean he's particularly great.
He plays great for England U21s, and is very fast. A good coach will make him a good playerGordon isn't even close to a £30M footballer from what I've seen so far this season. Be lucky to get £15M for him the way he's performing.
They gave it to Frank and Thelwell instead which I think hasn’t improved the squad at all.Yeah but if you look around the starting line up there’s nobody else with a history or track record of taking them. What was criminal was letting Digne, Siggi, James go in one transfer window without giving the manager any proper money to buy top quality.
That is a spot on assessment tbh - though I’m not sure we’ll exactly miss his pace and lack of end product so maybe we just spend 30m on someone really good!Sell for 30 and buy Adama for 10. You have just replaced his pace and lack of end product with 20 million to spare to buy an actual good player
I just look at someone like Mudryk, less than a year apart in age, play in the same position but in ability levels the chasm is vast between them.they’re as bad as each other, except one does fancy footwork.
