Not arsed in the slightest if he goes, I don’t thinks as good as he thinks he is.

But imagine growing up a Blue and wanting to leave after breaking into the first team?! They all seem to do it though: Rooney, Jeffers, Barkley, Rodwell.

I know money is a motivator obviously (and I’ve probably just answered my own question) but I’d want to do my best to get the club more competitive and to challenge, not sell me arse to a club I’ve no connection to. I’d have give my left testicle to play for Everton, but unfortunately I was crap.

Then go after a few years if it’s not working with good wishes.
Hes a red. A mate of mine from work knows someone who grew up with him. He has always been a red, but he also was obsessed with Chelsea and used to get Chelsea kits as well as Liverpool.

I cant wait to see the back of him. I heard all the hype, and ive never seen anything to suggest he will ever be anything other than average.

Id rather have Keiron Dowell in the side. And if he had been given even 1/4 of the opportunities that this lad has, im convinced hed have done much more. But we sold him to accommodate Gylfi the ghost.

And for what its worth, Tom Cannon is a red as well, but apparently is a completely different character hard working and grounded, and loves being at the club.

Sure but he's not Bellingham or any of the wonderkids that bursts on the scene at 18 either. He's probably an eventual solid premier league player if he's properly developed. Now even that is in question because he was forced in too soon due to our complete inability to build a coherent squad.
He's 22 in a couple of weeks and he's started 42 league games. If he wasn't playing people would be saying he's another Pennington or Mcaleny, why's he still on the books. It's mad the mental gymnastics people will do to make sure the blame lies where they want it to.

It’s not, yes who wouldn’t want to go to Chelsea Or Newcastle now looking at the mess we’re in but an academy graduate who’s probably been looked after by the club for years and his boyhood club id like to see the passion and desire shown last season which is why I liked him last season had the right attitude and was his break through season, footballing wise wasn’t great, he’s chose go missing and sulk cause a move didn’t happen he clearly wanted a move before that stupid video of the fans around his car

He's clearly being ill-advised by his agent, however, let's not forget how toxic this club has been since he broke into the first team. Not to mention fans chasing down his car and howling abuse at him leaving the stadium.

I'm happy with him going for the amounts quoted cause I have doubts over his ability but the abuse is uncalled for, especially for such a young lad. But it's what fans do, I guess, 17 year-old Thierry Small received similar abuse just for choosing to leave the club to join another team.

Rooney didn't want to go. Club wanted to sell him. They already had a deal with Chelsea lined up where he'd go to Middlesbrough on loan behind his back
Really? I thought he wrote a transfer request in the canteen at Bellefield? I’ve never heard that about the Chelsea and Boro thing though.

Wouldn’t surprise me however with Kenwright in charge.

That was after the club was basically forcing him out. He said recently that if he was to leave, he wanted to go to united and on his terms, not what the club wanted.

I always thought Gordon was a Kopite. That figures.
I’ve never seen what all the fuss was about with him. Not on the same level as Barkley, never mind Rooney.

Sell. Overrated. Cocky. Reckless and poor decision making. Will do nice things somewhere else occasionally like Barkley, who was a better player. He had chances to prove himself, and just hasn't delivered. Time to be ruthless, get rid reinvest.

He’s changed his tune in recent years Rooney. In his book he claimed he always wanted to go to Man united, but he would have joined Newcastle at the time( the only other club to make an official bid) to get away from Moyes.

Took this picture about six months ago at the Everton event in Washington, DC. Hard to believe how bad things have gone since then. Everton that.

Rooney was happy and going no where until Stretford (his agent) got in his ear and sold him the UTD dream. He was young and impressionable and Stretford abused his position to cash in on his greatest asset.

Doesn’t deserve the abuse he’s getting but he’s also not as good has made out. He stood up and stood out in an absolute poor side last season and he’s not exactly set the league on fire this season. We should have cashed in during the summer.

Newcastle are flying at the mi it’s but Howe will soon be found out and it will go pear shaped up there. Bad move for him going up Newcastle, might be getting a lot of hype, but once they go on a losing streak, the hype will die down and there fans will pipe up and start kicking off.
Wtf he was doing with that lazy foul when playing Soton at home?
