If he does better than what I've stated then I'll be wrong. I don't think he will. He's improved on what he was with us, but of course he was going to, that doesn't mean he's become a great player. I know you're casting the line out though so I'll stop nibbling.

Deffo got a chance of going to the euros IMO. Been excellent this season, golden ball at the U21 Euros last summer, did well for England in the recent international break, offers a similar profile to Rashford in terms of his ability to commit defenders and get in behind, but is looking much sharper physically and mentally than Rashford recently, also can play as a false 9. Every chance of getting on the plane IMO

He's a very good footballer IMO, prob wont be a great, but deserves his place in the squad, and ahead of Rashford. Big fan of Rashford, another one who does well for England, but doesnt seem on his game atm.

First it was Spurs, then Newcastle, probably Villa now too. Think about it, the more irrelevant we become how more clubs are going to be a more enticing place to play than Everton? How many more clubs are going to bypass us?

It’s alright calling for stability but you need people to take over here to make a bigger impact than that otherwise we just have more years of being barely an afterthought.

Not defending Gordon, I’m just saying that I don’t want to see more years of it being thought of as good that we finish mid table for a few years just because it’s not like it has been the last few years.

Fans made that mistake with Moyes/Kenwright and you don’t want that again. It developed a culture that suited the very few. No one wants that surely.

I’d have a bit more respect for him if he bails on NUFC in another couple of years if they’re still not top 4 regulars / winning stuff.
Least he’d be a man of his word.
Suspect he reached his ceiling though unless there a significant uptick in his meaningful contributions.
No better than Almeron for me. A decent player but not elite imho and not going to be either. Just don’t see him being the missing cog that elevates a team from also rans to front runners.
