Sweet Jesus people, Alcaraz is one of the worst defenders ever to play for us. He can't defend to save his life, he makes mistakes on a regular basis. Always out of position etc etc
If you thought Aluko went past Distin easy, he would have glided past the juggernaut Alcaraz stopped and done the crossword before scoring.
The only time Alcaraz is the answer is when the question is " how do we concede more? "

Aguero's pace will destroy Distin, imagine him against that sick note.
Its like an F1 car versus a go-kart
well who would YOU play at the back mr clever moomin??

Did I imagine the widespread rumours of Martinez and Distin having a fall-out? At the time Distin was dropped he was playing better than Jagielka - our captain was dire in the first three games of the season, and probably put in his worst-ever performance for us in the spanking vs Chelsea.Except he was picked ahead of Distin earlier in the season based on form in training,
No he most certainly did not.and then looked better than him in matches too. Sooo....
How was it a fluke? Did you see the game? No fluke about it.
We looked a lot more solid at the back with the Alcaraz-Jagielka partnership than we do now with Distin in there.
