Far too easy to make a mar joke there and it wouldnt have been that funny anyway.
He is the best at both, not the best at one or the other. A useful player to have around and plug gaps, so we dont throw Stones or Duffy in at the deep end and we arent overly reliant on Heitinga. Plus you mar loves being double teamed.

It could work, but we need to adapt fully to the style of football we have now first, before we implement more game plans. It was low risk for an experienced CB and hopefully, like you say, we can swerve Heitinga.

The problem is that he's taking a wage and contributing nothing. His appearance record over the last two seasons has shown that he's very injury prone. It's Pistone, Xavier, Alexandersson etc all over again.
