Appeal for witnesses...

Down to the alleged victim really mate. It’s likely she didn’t want any attention brought to it hence it not getting out until it’s leaked.

Sure we as fans might feel a little pissed off at the timing and the media saying bad stuff about our fans because of it it, but that’s not true so sack them and I’d rather be called a bad fan than be a female who was assaulted in any way.
When did this become the choice?

99% of us don't believe that there was any headlock assault.
So the real question here is who is the source of this misinformation?
Farhad Moshiri needs to act NOW to clarify the truth and discover the source.
I would hope that an internal investigation is already underway.
Instant dismissal should follow swiftly, regardless of whether it was a member of the backroom staff, a press officer or a board member.
I certainly wouldn't put it past Kenwright, Sharp or Ingles BTW, but I do reckon that it's one individual who has cocked up big time with these allegations. I can't believe for one minute that it was a joint board decision.

Yes totally different incidents.
My point was the club (EFC) not taking issue with a nationally seen physical assault , in the stadium irrespectful of who it was.
Yet they ( club source ) have briefed the media for an incident in the directors box without any witnesses or video footage .

You will find the vast majority of Evertonians condem any sort of violence at or near football grounds.

What we will not tolerate is the club using / not using incidents like these to suit there narrative whenever they want to deflect blame for the mess they have created here.
Got it. I take your point and agree.

I’m not comfortable however with victim shaming a female over an alleged assault until more details come out. Less so turning it into memes and conspiracies.
Which is exactly why the club needs to come out with a statement that gives clarity to the situation.

People for both sides are of course filling in the blanks.

All the whole the sensationalist media are lapping it up. Turmoil on the pitch, civil war off it.
