Never understood the Dennis hype.

He was poor in Belgium, did absolutely nothing in Bundesliga and was a £3M player 12 months ago. He had two or three good months early last season, but has been poor since New Year.

And you dont have to play FPL to be a victim of the hype.

Not that different with Broja. He started the season better than he finished it. But he did at the back of a decent season in the Netherlands. And he is a full international that did well for Albania. Remember the Hungary team that beat England twice last month? Broja scored the winner against Hungary twice last season in the World cup qualifiers.

When it comes to talent and potential it can not be close. Broja is way more exciting than Dennis.

Tbf Richarlison had a very similar season at watford. He did very little the 2nd half of that season there.

I dont know enough about him to be honest. I'd forget the time in Germany though. Cologne were a mess and he was only there for 10 games.

I quite like the way he takes his goals though. He's looks calm and doesnt panic. Thats something i'd put a big plus if i was looking at players to buy.

100% agree. Anyone actually watching Dennis (who @MKEvertonian above keeps bleating on about despite seemingly not knowing anything about him or seeing him play) would see that hes a huge risk.

Theres plenty of talent out there, it could be Broja. Our hand is strong simply due to Lampard.

Truly appalling recruitment. What have we been able to recoup on that, about €15m right? About €12m on Klaassen and €3m on Schneiderlin. The rest - lol

Unfortunately I don’t think we can afford the reported price for what remains a significant gamble for this player.
I suspect if he moves permanently it will be to WHam allowing him to remain in London.
We really need the ability locate players with similar potential for a third of the price.
