He did ok tonight, don't forget he was playing in a inexperienced side, the patterns of play will be better against QPR, lets see how he fits in there. Games like this tonight he wont have the players alongside him to work with as good as he will have in the first team. If anything it was more a run to get up to fitness, either way he didnt let himself down

Was excellent at holdup play today. If we can only merge his linkup play with Rom's slotting to create the ultimate striker. I thought when we got him it was a good signing because people forget how good he was at Wigan. He bagged a few goals and made players out of guys like Maloney. If he can get back to form we good No.2 and someone who can take pressure off the D by holding on to possession when we got a lead. He can also play pretty well around the box so he might be able to develop a partnership with Rom.
 

Nice to see a striker on the pitch with a good first touch wasn't it. The football luminaries on here have got him marked as 'absolutely gash' though.
