Would any of us have shipped him out in the summer... Probably most of us.
Would any of us have given him a place in the starting line up this season, never mind today... Probably not.
Did any of us expect him to have been quite so effective as he was at Southampton and again today... Probably not many.

Did he deserve a standing ovation today... You bet ha boots he did, Yes.
How many of us stood and applauded him lovingly when he came off today in true recognition of a fine, fine effort... Every one of us.

He played well today in a team that was playing well. He has come on leaps and bounds. He certainly is fighting for a spot in the team. I would like to see Mirellas getting a run in the team to compare them.
But if Bobby says Kone, Kone it is.

Credit where it's due mate, he worked hard today and didn't let anybody down.

He played well in a very good team performance, few stand out players, but everybody in blue today put in a proper shift.
