Oh right ha. Phew.

Well I haven't smoked it for years but it's available.

People try to sell you stuff all the time, usually taxi guys but a lot of them are either marked or stooges for the police so I wouldn't advise taking the risk.

There are bars I know where they sell openly over the counter and these are ignored by and large by police, whether they are ran by mafia or just pay police subs I don't know.

But I've seen police sitting in a car waiting to nick people on the way out so again, full of risk.

Unless they know someone trustworthy I'd tell them to swerve it personally. Just go cocktails and take a bar girl home to reignite their marriage instead.

hows your visa situation ??

if you over stay your visa it used to be 1000 baht for ever day over, payable at the airport.. or being arrested if you cant pay!

if you over stay your visa it used to be 1000 baht for ever day over, payable at the airport.. or being arrested if you cant pay!

I thought it was 500 but I can't remember.

I'm renewed til 18th Jan, cost 1900bht.

I don't think usually they let you renew twice you have to go in and out of the country again but they won't let me leave so I guess they don't have a choice.

If they don't give me a visa and I get a daily charge I'll be fuming to be fair ha.

Yeah the system is long and not exactly transparent but it is what it is. If I was back home case would be dismissed, if I was in a different country things might be a whole lot worse.

You got to keep thinking positive otherwise there's no point.

Haha yeah the drug driving buses in Sri Lanka were the same. Absolute heart in mouth stuff for hours and hours.

I only have a half hour scooter ride to immigration here thankfully!
