There's no point debating it, I think the Silva deal was done months ago probably before Sam was appointed and I'd even venture to suggest that Sam knew all about it, which is why he held out for an 18 month deal. Arteta must be building a reputation to be in the running for the Arse job though, I'm sure it won't be long before someone gives him a chance, Stoke maybe?

Arteta isnt going to knock Arsenal back then go to Stoke, only matter of time before he gets a decent job, can see Moyes going to Stoke

He's had a very good footballing education.

Guardiola has always had good teams , admittedly with a healthy base already - not to mention big budgets.....but even city have looked a different class this season...

Guardiola sees something in arteta...why shouldn't we?

Plus some of our best football came with him in our midfield...

Let's just get that Steve McClaren in then. Ferguson speaks very highly of him.
 
Arteta wanted full control of Transfers at Arsenal. He won't that at Everton because we have just taken on Parcel Hands. That alone makes me think the Greatest wee Spaniard won't be becoming our manager.
