Have not even took any notice, but be great if most of the season ends like last season as will make better TV lol

If im not wrong, 2nd half of the season they had a run of games where they picked up a heck of a lot of points compared to other teams.

Martinelli, Smith-Rowe and Saka is a sound base to build a midfield from.

As things currently stand i think we'll be way behind Arsenal unless we make some intelligent signings...

The tv spectacle will probably be on the race for 4th :)

If Table began new years day, they would have 41 points and be 4th [west ham 3rd on 42*,man utd 2nd on 44* and City top on 60points
Everton would be 10th on 30 points from 23 games

We dropped like a stone...Arteta may have improved them on that run and could well do again next season.

Their fans mostly dont like him but he seems to need a bit of time to develop and add to the youth there.

Cheers Arteta, Today he was thinking of us. The first big side to loose this season. Makes our match lesser news redardless of result. Top man.

He looks clueless at times when the camera is on him, he doesn't seem the type of manager who can fix a defence.

Signing White for £50 million is shockingly bad, he has no aerial presence whatsoever, and he seems quite slight as well, he was worth around £20 million but would be better with a older head leader as his CB partnership, he's gone to Arsenal and they have payed that fee for a player expecting him to be that type of CB.

Arsenal fans must rue the day they forced Wenger out.

The recruitment seems to have no planning whatsoever, handing Willian a massive signing on fee and wage was a joke, Pepe is one of the worst transfers in PL history, Aubamayang on 300K a week looks worse every month.

Shockingly badly run club on and off the pitch right now.

It's the dilemma they have isn't it? Wenger wasn't challenging for the title so had to go even though he was still winning trophies.

Still aren't anywhere near the title, but still in the hat/winning trophies...so not good enough.

But they are falling rapidly from grace
Wenger never lost it as a manager. He was just way too nice in the transfer market and would always let a player go to a rival club. He desperately needed someone to tell him that y'know maybe selling all your best players to Chelsea, City and Man Utd is not a good idea.

In reality Arsenal has never been a good club, outside of Arsene Wenger. Remove the Wenger years and the club has been a club that finishes around 8th. Maybe they never were that good...but he was.
Strange, before Wenger they had recent sustained success under George Graham, won 2 titles, few League and Fa Cups and a Cup Winners Cup, did the double in 71, and had won 10 league titles before Wenger arrived.

Arsenal had one of the first Dominant periods in English football as well.

Even after Chelsea's bought success since 2005, Arsenal are still London's #1 team by most honours and fanbase in the city.

I give Arsenal far more respect then the two plastic oil teams, they have authentic history not propped up by a gangster boss or despotic regime.
