Koeman does well here anytime in the next 2 seasons: Koeman leaves. Koeman doesn't justify that big wage and whatver spending he has in the next 2 seasons: Koeman leaves. That's the way I see it.

Dunno about the first bit...there's a smattering of large heads in the NorthWest right now. If we get things sorted, he may want to stay around for a while and test himself against the supposed best.

I'd say that's fair mate. I expect Koeman to get us top 6 this year, at the very least next year. Plus I reckon he will win us a trophy in that period.

I think he is under no illusion on what we expect hence why he the majority of time he talks he talks about winning and how important winning is. It may take him a season to get us playing his way but he will set us up to win games along the way.
Exactly. He's got the canvass to work on here. No excuses.

I think he's a good manager, proven it already in many ways. I just have that extended bad run S'ton had in the back of mind from last season when they couldn't win for a couple of months. he got them out of it, but their lot have no expectations nor bring any pressure on their managers as long as it's bobbing along midtable. Here he would have a fire under him. It'll be interesting to see how he reacts to the first bit of crowd criticism.

aye mate he went through a real bad 10 game sticky patch where other clubs would have been trigger happy to sack him.

Can't give you a definitive reason why Dave, I just think right here and right now at this moment in time he is absolutely perfect for us.

You know the last 2 seasons I personally slated this squad for stealing a living from our club. I really don't think that's going to be happening under this man's watch and I believe good times are just around the corner.
Early days I know but I'm excited by him as our manager, and I whisper that quietly to many but there's just something about him which makes me think we've nabbed ourselves an absolute gem of a manager

You mean he cleared his lines?

He marshalled the defence, never stopped talking and helped the team to a very rare clean sheet.

A wonderful footballer.

No there was atleast twice were he just passed it badly out of play..

Lets not over exaggerate now wonderful footballer haha

Clearing your lines is fine. Im not criticising him for that, just his passing was alittle off as is Jagielkas
Right and if they were CMs I would be concerned, but they are CBs, their only job in the team is to defend, its the only thing we should judge them on, unless your Pep of course.

Agree with goat, a CB main priority is to clear the lines and to defend in their end. Yes it would be nice if there passes were as accurate as a midfielders, but that isn't their job. I was super happy with Williams game and I thought the tandem of his and Jags leadership and preference did wonders for our team!

They were simple passes that he should be making. The type that Mori does n everyone moans but its Williams our new signing so its fine. You need to be able to defend and on occasion take the ball out of defence n pick out a pass other wise we'll just be wacking it up or out for throw ins.

This is the same group of fans who slated John Stones for doing a Cruyff turn in his own area.

You cant have it both ways, the first job of any defender is to clear their lines, you all need to get used to the fact that Ronny enjoys a good punt, stop being hipsters, football has its roots in the punt.

Massive difference between and Cruyff turn in your box and passing to a player bro.

Last season there was at least twice moments in games were stones would give the ball away in dangerous situations or make an error. If Williams' only mistakes are his passing out of play a couple of times a game, I can live with that.
