Assuming control, the first 100 Days…

No doubt Bill will have told Moshiri what NSNO meant on day 1.
Moshiri no doubt thought or said "why have you not been even striving to achieve this in terms of player recruitment, marketing, financial management, commercials?"

Moshiri can make some easy wins in the above by appointing the right people. Stadium move, commercial sponsorships, player recruitment etc. Koeman and Monchi will be masterstrokes if we can pull them off.

"Plucky old Everton" is gone. Welcome back the "Mersey Millionaires" or "Mersey Billionaires". Chang will be gone, Kitbag will be gone, EITC will grow and grow.

Moshiri excites me more than Koeman to be honest. Onward Evertonians!

....very positive. The only point I will make is that we are still to truly see any of the things we are expecting and hoping for actually happen, more specifically Koemans appointment and formal notification of a waterfront stadium. I'm more than happy that business appears to be conducted out of the public eye and I'm more than happy to be patient.

Well said @Eggs
Still too many expecting too much too soon. These are exciting times and I think/hope/pray that the good times WILL return, but inevitably it can't happen overnight.
As @The Esk pointed out we already 'appear' to have a different mindset now after just 100 days.
Lingering doubts may not be answered fully for another year or two.

@The Esk great read, you imply that we may be further down the road in terms of the stadium issue (one site preferred above others) than the media have drip fed (stonecross site and potentially docks being considered) us. Do you think strides have been made in this area? Sorry if I've missed any posts on the stadium thread.

In terms of the first 100 days the turn around in what is now possible for Everton has been amazing to witness. It finally feels now like we are on something of a more level playing field with our traditional peers and gives us at least a chance of catching up with them long term.

Great article @The Esk and continues well from your previous articles on Moshiri and Evertons future.

One of the challenges, whilst people who know or have a feeling for the internal workings of our club or a general understanding and or experience and knowledge of how people like Moshiri work will be equally relaxed about our future. However there will be people who will be sceptical until they see tangible results. On and off the park.

If the stories about our new board member are true, I have no reasons to doubt, then the football world will be waking up to a whole new Everton one that is not just along for the ride.

For Joe Anderson to also say publicly we will have a stadium within three years helps to demonstrate that the old guard have been swept away, even if they are still there as directors on the board, the new team are not resting on their laurels and must have instilled confidence in to the sceptical mayor for him to do so.

I feel we will now see over the coming weeks and months the results of this new direction and more corporate stewardship that has taken the reins at Everton.

I think we will see the return of the club living by its motto.

There are discussions and negotiations taking place mate including dockland sites.

Herbert Hoover was a very shonky president but I reckon the even shonkier actions of the privately owned Federal Reserve central bank led to the Great Depression. Hoover 'merely' exacerbated it.

But a very good article mate.

Thank you sir! May I ask if you have any insight as to what the new regimes attitude will be towards the fans groups? There is a lot of burnt earth to be sseded there I suspect?

It's a good point mate. I'm not part of any fan group but I've not heard of any particular progress unless anyone knows differently?
