Assuming control, the first 100 Days…

I think the possibility of a new ground on the docks is what im most excited about if im honest.
Players come and go, but that would be one hell of a statement of intent.

And Moshiri knows it.
Those far Eastern potentates of old liked their effusive titles, so if he pulls all this off, I'm al for naming the new stadium the 'Most exhalted Farhad Moshiri, Lord of Wilmslow, Slayer of mediocrity, Humiliator of the red demons and packer of the epic schlong' stadium

I was extremely optimistic until the news thst weve got Koeman came through.

@The Esk always said he was 1st choice and fair play he's got who he wanted. It certainly seems that if far superior managers were indeed talking with us and weve stuck with Koeman for the whole process then these meetings/interviews were pointless and irrelevant not to mention a waste of time.

It just points to Moshiri only wanting Koeman and only making an offer to him after interviewing clearly far superior managers.

Could Moshiri have made a snap decision here, to me it certainly appears to be an odd choice.

I'd actually understand the logic if someone else was 1st choice but Koeman impressed with a clear vision in interview. Then we moved for him.

The only logic which people have said is that we get him for 2 seasons to return to 6th place and appoint a better manager...but if top managers were interviewed then we will have wasted the next 2 years....

I certainly hope Monchi is on his way, why a nee DOF wasnt hired before a manager beats me. Though it smacks of Koeman being the one and only choice in Moshiri's mind.

Roosevelt was a visionary but one that bitterly divided his country, which shouldn't be forgotten. Then again change has a habit of doing that.

So Moshiri, a visionary who brings change? I'd agree with that analogy.

Let's hope it's the lot across the park, bitter as they scar the landscape with their grotesque grey monolith, while we rise like a royal blue phoenix on the banks of the Mersey. The heart and soul and true club of the city.

Loved this.
I had to read twice, in fact three times, the part stating that the CFO of oil giant BP may come on board. Make no mistake, this is massive, absolutely massive, and this to me is more of a statement than anything I've read before.
This tells me that Mr Moshiri has huge plans for Everton.

I'd also like to state my gratitude to BK, I know he has his knockers and I know we may have stagnated under him but he did say he would only ever sell to someone who had good intentions. It would have been easy for him to walk away with all the flak he took and sell Everton to the highest bidder but he hung on in the hope that the right guy would show up, and hopefully Mr Moshiri is that guy.
I just hope Bill is still around to see us lift our first major trophy under the new regime.

Well said mate.thats a very good point. Bill deserves a lot of credit for waiting for the right man

....very positive. The only point I will make is that we are still to truly see any of the things we are expecting and hoping for actually happen, more specifically Koemans appointment and formal notification of a waterfront stadium. I'm more than happy that business appears to be conducted out of the public eye and I'm more than happy to be patient.

Yup. "Handsome is as handsome does" as my Granny used to say.

Great read.... Think an article on the next 100 days will be telling....a lot of what happens there will be public and for all to see..... Getting the manager/DoF sorted and ins + outs of the playing squad through the summer is the priority.
Cautiously optimistic.....
