It should be far easier sorting a team out defensively than offensively

Big problem is team is getting a bad habit of throwing away a two goal lead. To stay up you need to grind away and cling on to 1-0s as we've seen in previous years. There's a vulnerability to the backline now in that situation although hopefully Branthwaite's presence will eleviate that issue.

Just come back from a family wedding, checked the score and immediately thought 'expected considering the opposition'.

Then I noticed the order the goals went in and all the good feelings from today have evaporated.

Now to read the match reports to see how we managed to Everton things up again.

I wonder who is in charge of improving the team mentality…
Fair point mate, one of the reasons I like Dyche is mentality is something he's traditionally been good at instilling. Sadly absent this season so far. When Branthwaite and Chermiti are back I hope we'll be back into that frame of mind, and Broja for that matter.

Yes mainly because we are short at full back and Keane is so bad positionally He doesnt have a football brain , where Branthwaite does. . We need to get the lad back ASAP/ play O Brien or go 5 at the back yo cover for Keanes weaknesses.

I understand why people want to blame the players - and I’m not saying they are absolved of it.

But the buck stops with the manager. If there’s a mindset problem - and there is - only he can fix it.
