We're not in good shape, and we're going nowhere soon. The atmosphere as such is far from buzzing. But some of these shouts about all the fans just giving up and packing it all in??? lol

You forgot to say the managers tactics are puzzlingly bad too!Our troubles now are all done to an inept transfer window. The board, koeman and Walsh are all to blame. Our new manager was in place the start of June not the start of August and we didn't address the shortcomings in the squad that was apparent to us all. Fail to prepare...prepare to fail, sadly we are reaping what we sowed.
This. The optimism of koeman's appointment and the investment in our playing squad from the early days of last summer, seems like a distant memory. I'm sure koeman and moshiri will take the club forward, but we need at least 3 signings in the January transfer window to invest some quality and impetus into the squad, all the general apathy around the ground witnessed today will become more commonplace.Awful atmosphere today. Didn't sing a single song today me nor did anyone around me. Just nothing to shout and sing about. Bored of me Tits today me
The abuse that some of our players receive from their own "supporters" is nothing short of disgraceful. Is it any wonder that our team so often under-performs when playing at home?
We are Everton. We are better than this.

That's the feeling I get. I look around and I see many people going out of a sense of duty or habit rather than any enthusiasm whatsoever for the club.
And I don't blame them one bit for feeling that way. The product the club offers is nothing to get enthused about, and that combined with the sterile, money soaked hopelessness of the modern game has simply turned people completely off.
We're paying comparatively massive money to watch millionaires not bother to break into a jog. Why cheer and sing about that?
