We're all about the world wide interviews now after doing Foeman's interviews on holiday.

The media team are on easy jet flight EZ7891 out there now, with cameras in tow.

One of them had to be left behind for hiding something they shouldn't have in one of the cameras.
 
On a serious note, doubt we will announce any perceived 'statement' signing on the same day the entire footy world is preoccupied with the France- Germany semi final

would kind of defeat the purpose of making a statement unless your sure it will resonate and get the coverage your after
 
Didn't realise that sardinia was on the moon and its impossible to fly from this Mediterranean paradise to England if he his to be unveiled.

Man up ffs, if it's done then it's done, irrelevant of when he's presented to the press.

While i think to a degree that things do get held off for things going on - however don't think that this would be an issue.

There is plenty of coverage about transfers, i don't think German vs France would be something that would hold this up.

I'd move them all on, except the bottom name if it means all them going would land us a top midfielder ;)

Barry - will he accept as a backup? Solid pro if he is staying for another year then will only do us good.
Gibson - kept on due to the home grown rule. Will probably injured most of the time. Backup player.
Cleverley - never a CM for me. Since we are buying better players he will be the first name to leave. Will generate a decent fund as he is English.
McCarthy - decent squad player but like Barry will he accept as a bit part player? His performances were pretty average for two seasons.
Besic - learning and surely a squad player of the team.
Davies - talent youth...think he will make it.

You could be right mate, to the rest of the people following footy - this transfer news is pretty new and won't seem like it's been dragging on at all btw, only the fact we had a bit of a tip off about it and it's been obsessing the forums for the last week or more that makes it seem to be dragging on.

Bet if you go to any other fans forum and there own proposed transfers will be getting accused of dragging on as well, just we don't see it as doing that because we arent as interested.

Yep - there is very few deals these days where its like "SUPRISSSSEEEE we signed PLAYERX"... most deals have rumblings of going on before the world realises about them - and even then they can take longer to tie up.

Lots of things can hold deals up, just gotta be patient and wait for it... which is hard when you see other clubs making signings.

Sry but Besic is one of those players who's aleays injured and those never change.

Be harder if i was watching teams making loads of signings that i was like 'crap would have loved him here' but so far there's not really been very many of those at all, and even one of the best ones comes with 'injured till at least January' attached to it.

Mata and Witsel will get done, today, tomorrow or whenever it's signed and sealed, a new Keeper will arrive whenever Begovi.... ermm whoever signs, and a new centre mid will arrive whenever they pass the medical showing that there 3 times operated on knee is holding up fine...

then it's just waiting for Stones to leave and seeing who we replace him with.

Will all get done eventually


I'm as interested to see who we move on this summer frankly, as that can tell nearly as much about ambition as who you bring in
