That really sounds outrageous. So a 30 mil deal is put on hold because Witsel and his agent can´t agree on how much money the agent should get? And Moshiris people can´t do anything to sort it out?

I dont think this is a particularly rare thing with agents mate. They're crooks.

Don't forget that a transfer is multi-faceted. The amount the player (and the agent) get upon signing, and the potential for a lucrative contract extension and pay increase. At present, Everton could offer £x per week, but we don't have the immediate title winning/CL prospects that could lead to a bumper salary increase for new signings in a year or two.

Therefore, whilst a player may think Everton look like a nice club to play for and offer a good salary, the agent may well have a different agenda.

Good points but the impression you get from the media is that we're offering more money for him in the fee and a higher salary than Juve would offer, so other than the prestige of being at a team like Juve I don't get it. Surely his agent would make more money from us if we're offering a higher salary and better terms.
