Yet to see any evidence of this..
Sort of.
Moshiri has tons of cash. So technically we are loaded. That is fact.
The question is where he intends to splash it.
Yet to see any evidence of this..
Has Rom really had his head turned that much by us? Or is it a case of the 'bigger clubs' not coming in for him? He hasn't exactly been vocal in saying how much he is looking forward to the new season at Everton and working with Koeman.
Going back 6+ weeks to the time of the Euros, Lukaku was still looking for a move away, was in daily contact with Witsel in the Belgian camp, and news of our interest in Witsel would have been reaching him. I've no idea what footballers talk about, but strikes me that Witsel might well have asked "what about Everton then, any good for me".
Ha! On which basis we would be completely stuffed in signing anyone.
Holtby's dad is a fan, so is Lallana's, pity really as they both preferred other teams style of playEverton are notoriously bad amongst European dads, somewhere, sometime it just went pear shaped.
"Who did I sign for again, I forgot?"I can see Darren Griffiths on Everton TV with Witsel;
"Axel, welcome to Everton Football Club. What was it that persuaded you to come to Everton?"
"The money, of course!"
Can't being helping too much if Lukaku, a player who could sell the club's new ambition to Witsel, is himself linked with leaving.
To be fair, Witsel is a tit.
Might be aboss player but he is a tit, makes us look like mugs as well. He was waiting for Napoli, he is waiting for juventus, waiting for inter milan.
How about we just tell him to keep waiting then and go sign someone else?
Not necessary for me to say I don't know anything (!) but I agree with the thrust of your post. It would be nice to hear Lukaku come out and say something positive. We saw a sustained media campaign on his behalf for several weeks with the purpose of getting him out of the club.
There is an air at present of Lukaku staying because no club would make a suitable offer, and Witsel, if he does sign, doing so because he has "no alternative". I'm sure Witsel will say all the right things if he finally does arrive but you feel at present like its more through bribery than desire.

Rom wants to leave mate, he always has, the only one saying anything about him staying was Mino, which i feel was just to force chelsea to pay 75m, so he gets another ridiculous cut the fat grub. dont hold your breath waiting for him to say something positive, if anything, im expecting him to run his mouth again in the coming days...Not necessary for me to say I don't know anything (!) but I agree with the thrust of your post. Wouldn't want either Holtby or Lallana, both way over rated!Holtby's dad is a fan, so is Lallana's, pity really as they both preferred other teams style of play
Bobby/BK have done much damage. Moshiri's no sheik in wealth. No comparison to Man City here.Rom wants to leave mate, he always has, the only one saying anything about him staying was Mino, which i feel was just to force chelsea to pay 75m, so he gets another ridiculous cut the fat grub. dont hold your breath waiting for him to say something positive, if anything, im expecting him to run his mouth again in the coming days...
This is why im worried... we have witnessed cthe man city take over... warchests etc, exactly the same position we have found ourselves in... but city was signing the likes of robinho, and had stars at the club that bought into the project and got city to where they are today... us everton on the other hand, cant hold onto our stars, cant sign any new stars and really dont have alot to be optimistic about with 12 days till kickoff... youve got to ask yourself, why are players not lining up to be apart of the new era? has bobby really done that much damage? or is mosh taking us all for a ride? ive got all my eggs in the walsh basket, lets see what happens.
