Beer, revisited

Recently home from 10 days in Italy, beer highlights were...

Luckybrews - Mobster DIPA - Venice,
Birrificio Elav - Noir Stout - Venice,
Rodenbach - Grand Cru - Venice,
Mikkeller - Raspberry Berlinerweisse - Verona,
Monchshof - Dunkel - Verona,
Monchshof - Unfiltered Helles - Verona,
Kapuziner - Hefeweizen - Verona,
Barbanera - Dubble - Verona,
Barbanera - AIPA - Verona,
Paulaner - Salvator - Verona,
Williams Bros - McFarlane Scottish stout - Jesolo,
Urthel - Hop-It - Jesolo,
Urthel - Maranth - Jesolo,
Brasserie Dubuisson - Peche Mel Bush - Jesolo.

I`d have gone onto shorts before drinking soapy Coors.

Coors, along with Carlsberg is pretty much undrinkable.
I
It's odd, I think, that serious beer drinkers can have entirely different opinions about them. I respect yours, but
Carlsberg is one of my favourites. Hofbrahaus - spell - Lager is my top pick but it isn't available packaged, as far as I know, and is only available on tap at two venues here and is pretty expensive.

Do you live abroad ?

If so, the Carlsberg that you`re drinking won`t be the same as the dishwater here !

I live in Melbourne - born and bred in Liverpool - but no, I've been drinking Carlsberg on tap
in the UK for a few weeks - 2 quid a pint at Wetherspoons :) - and I like it.
Are you sure you're not being prejudiced because it was on the rs shirt for a while? I don't let that stuff bother me.
As a matter of fact, I did the Pit stadium tour about 3 weeks ago with a plastic lfc supporter, my brother-in-law, and then
the GP tour. That's a different story for another thread, though. I'll tell you about it later.

I can just about stomach Carling, with lime or lemonade ( the drink ), but Carlsberg is just nasty chemical stuff, that goes flat in minutes.

Don't often get beers from Woodforde here, which is a pity. In the White Star this afternoon, and very nice it was :
