Beer, revisited

Just trying out a bottle of a beer I've not come across.....its called Headspace and is brewed by McEwan's. Described as a "whisky beer" it comes in at 5.8 ABV and is quite fruity. Bought it in Asda in the 4 for £6 aisle. Not bad, think the Innis & Guinn beers are probably more to my taste, but wouldn't mind sampling a draught version if its available.

I like the Innis&Guinn beers, as they’ve got a very distinct taste.

I had a pint of Fernandes - Chocolate Cherry Stout in the Ship. Came in at a reasonable 4.5% and was light in texture compared to many stouts.

The cherry was very noticable, which wasn't a bad thing as I am a fan of cherry and other berry flavours, but I think the distinct flavour would be too much for many.

Looks like a pre-festive visit to the Ship is on the cards......
;)
