We used to joke that the sawdust on the floor was last nights furniture. Staggered out of there more than once after a night on the "Blobs".

Nothing like an imperial stout to warm the cockles, deceptively drinkable.
A fine bitter, and not too strong.
The first terrible Christmas pun beer of the season, nice and malty.
Also bought a few bottles of Manns Brown ale from Home Bargains. Dirt cheap and I've always liked it. Not enough brown ales around nowadays because of the flood of pale ales.

I'm revisiting beer on Friday night. Since I've been taking CBD oil every day (after being diagnosed with adult ADHD) I have gone from someone who got drunk by his third pint to someone who doesn't feel any effect at all after three pints. Apparently cannabidiol slows the absorbtion of alcohol into the bloodstream. I'm going for a pre-Christmas drink with mates so it'll be interesting to see how I'm feeling after five or six pints in the pub, followed by a couple of bottles of Cobra with an Indian restaurant afterwards.
But what are your hangovers like !!
I don't know, I haven't had more than three pints in the last couple of years. I expect I'll get drunk eventually but it'll take longer.
