I haven't mate, the whole CBD thing is a bit of a mystery to me.
I used to drink in their brewery tap when I was spending a lot of time up north, y'know in the "before times" , and I'd grab a few cans as I wobbled out.
I was actually chasing their Metric Tunnox tea-cake stout but they'd well sold out, a few of the others caught my eye and the 10% off tipped my hand.
Nice one, hoping they do the MT again, really keen to try that.I was on a beer run earlier and found a couple of the Metric Tunnox. I'm not going to tempt myself tonight as I have a busy run into the weekend but come Friday night, if I hold out, I'll report back.
No sign of the CBD range though. I might pop over to the tap room over the weekend and see if it's on there. Any excuse
That's excellent news. Some very good news.
The wonderful Roscoe Head has just been granted another five years of protection as an " Asset of Community Value - ACV ".
This should mean that for at least another five years it`ll be safe from the developers that have been sniffing around it.

I was, at least for the most part, its a bit complicated, but covid and full working from home has put me firmly back in the south west for the last 6 months, and the foreseeable. Are you not based on Merseyside?
Had a peach vanilla nose from a local brewer and it was, quite despite the name, extremely good. Very light and the flavors made it less harsh tasting. Nothing candy flavored like most shandies I've had, this was a great warm weather beer.
In beerwolf in ulverston right now.
Beer heaven.

Archived Petition: Reverse the change to Small Brewers Relief.
The Treasury has announced changes to Small Brewers Relief (SBR) – the progressive tax system that has revolutionised UK brewing. These changes will reduce the 50% duty threshold from 5,000hl to 2,100hl: small breweries will have to pay more duty, whilst larger breweries could pay the same or less.petition.parliament.uk
In short, the bigger breweries (Timothy Taylor's, Harvey's etc) are making the smaller breweries pay more tax.
