Yes, it was a lovely pint, but pricey.
Much more up my beer tap, tangy tropical pale ale, slightly pineapple flavour.
This is a very interesting "beer" that is verging on non-beer. It's more like mango juice with a non-ossified notochord (as opposed to back bone) of beer. But wow, it is delicious and it sure hit the spot tonight when we had dinner outside on the porch and it was 93F out. Freeze it to the point of slush and sip it cold...Low ABV to boot.

I just started to travel again for work, went up too northern VA, was 2 blocks from Aslin when my car crapped itself. Turns out the engine block had a crack in it and needed to get replaced entirely. Been home for 3 weeks but probably heading out again next week, might stay a night in Staunton actually!

Love a warley bine
I tried a few Barley wines and they don't do it for me, but it is certainly possible that I was expecting something quite different and was too judgemental. When I was living in London in Spring of 2019 I went to Cloudwater brewery a few times--the Bermondsey location in London. Good place. I think I even have photos of that small little place under the portals.I didn't quite make it to this last night but finished it earlier. Very nice and fruity.

Last nights tipple :
Cascade 3.8% Liverpool Organic Brewery.
Quite hoppy for a low strength beer. Wasn’t sure if it to start with, due the hoppiness, but once you adjust to that, it’s a nice beer.
Wasn’t allowed near the bar, so had to take a photo of the beer mat, rather than the pump !
….going for a few Guinness this afternoon although it’s not been the best in my local since lockdown.
