Beer, revisited

I was on the Gambrinus 11 last night, it's a top five Czech, which makes it at least 97% better than anything Polish.

Except the Crooked Forest in Gryfino. That place is pretty cool.
I was actually after Czech brew, as my Polish dude usually has a few random lines in too (think he buys whateverhis distributors have), but he was out. Tons of Polish beer. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions there. He, no doubt, would blame Emmanuel Macron.

I've been drinking Guinness the last couple of days. It's like an old friend.
Tried these ?

This weekends offerings from the Lakes :

Brathay Gold ( 4% ) - Barngates
Kirkstone Gold ( 3.9% ) - Tirril
Ghyll Golden Ale ( 3.7%) - Fell

The pick of the bunch by a mile, was the Ghyll. One of the best pints I’ve had all year.

Very much like Golden Pippin ale by Copper Dragon, sweet and full of taste and would go great guns with a curry.

The other two were just “ okay “ which I suspect was due to them nearing their best before date.
