Beer, revisited

Ooh, watermelon gose sounds interesting, how sour is it?

It's sour, to be sure...but not so much to be not drinkable. As I think I mentioned, I actually "cut it" with a bit of pale ale, about 40/60 (from the same brewery); it softens the sting...the beer-tenders at the microbrew taught me this, and it really does work well--they just fill my pint glass witha bout 40% pale ale and 60% watermellon gose. I even do it at home with the cans.
 

The craft expo was great and had a brilliant range of beers from some top brewers. The only issue was too many Impy's - can't remember leaving the Friday night session! :pint2::hayee:
