Beer, revisited

Its very cheap at £6.64 a sub, that's why I'm tempted.

What's the Blade machine like? Thinking of buying myself one soon.
I have a Blade and a Perfectdraft, the Blade is way more expensive but the quality of the beer is awesome.

More choice on Perfectdraft, just grabbed a stash of Lowenbrau Octoberfests.

If I had a choice to make I’d deffo go with the Blade.

May get chucked out of the thread for this but…
Went to a minor league baseball game over the weekend and had a couple Budweisers. It’s been years since I had and have to admit it was better than I remembered.
Maybe my taste buds are dying.

Either way was disappointed on leaving I noticed that one of the other concessions stands was selling Devil’s Backbone— a nice brewery from Virginia

I always stick by how they make a 5% drink taste of near nothing is a skill in itself.

I'd rather have a beer that tastes of near nothing, than something horrible so that's not actually a bad thing

I‘d rather not drink any of it at all, which is what I frequently do, if I go out with my missus, and her poncey bars.

Mind you paying 4 quid for a pint of Diet Coke, is punishment enough.

Since when is fruit in beer hipster? Some of the old beers in the world contain fruit
Indeed
Never had any strawberry beer though.

Budweiser and all these other pilsners: they're all alright if you drink them ice cold.
Except Coors. Absolute worst beer I've had. Brother bought some back from the states in a vain attempt to kill me.

uk bud (always awful but moreso now) has been reduced to 4.5%, is this the standard stateside ? (it was done here for duty reasons, a lot of other brands went the same way)

Brother has been to the Coors factory in Colorado. He's not a fan but said at the factory the pints taste completely different and are actually 'refreshing'.

Also said because of the altitude you get drunk pretty quickly.

Faced with a poor set of choices in the Spellow on matchday (I'd normally settle for Guinness but it was sweltering) I said ahh screw it, I'll have a bud.... I did think - I've had worse and paid more in some man-bun infested hip hop emporia y'know.
