Had one of each of these, decided I preferred the raspberry one and went back for a second, just a hint of berries, not too pronounced or too sweet for a session.
Both recommended.
Now that stout has become fashionable again, I love what some of the smaller brewers are doing with it.
A decent stout, is a thing of beauty.
Absolutely, done well they are some of my favourite things.
I'm more happy though about the availability of some truly excellent porters and milds. I was quite worried mild would die a death, a quite beautiful drink made with care.
I agree, but as you know, outside of proper real ale pubs, mild is almost impossible to find anywhere.
There`s a dozen licensed premises by me and only one has mild on draught and that`ll probably go soon, with the new licensee wanting to liven the pub up.
Sad news, had a couple of pints from them in The Belvedere last week.
Won't be the last sadly.
Nooooooooooooo!Wild Beer too, a few days ago.
aaannnd with £1.8m of crowdfunding money.....
Nooooooooooooo!
Wild Beer have gone?

Some of the brews with high price points might face a difficult time. I don't feel it is appropriate for me to be buying some of the beers I normally would do. Just doesn't feel right. I am sure there will be many coming to similar conclusions. My local, which has always done it`s level best, to keep it`s prices down, due to the amount of old boys that drink in there, has had to put it`s beer up by 80p a pint, just to stand still.
They communicated the reasons for doing it to everyone beforehand, so it hasn`t made any difference, as everyone understands and is supportive.
You`ve got to fear, for pubs, where their custom comes from visitors though.

Hi Sam.Yeah it does wind me up a bit when people moan to staff about beer prices, 90% of places don't want to put their prices up
