A domestic-only window, during which Premier League clubs can trade only with those in the EFL or below, will run from 23:01 BST on 5 October to 17:00 BST on 16 October.

I thought this was only 1 way, but it clearly says we can trade with them, so that means both ways.

Interesting.

I think we'll look to get this boxed off by 9.30pm tonight so Carlo can watch his next Netflix series in peace.

Won't want Brands calling him up 9.45pm asking does he wanna raise the bid an extra 100k

Was talking about Norwich's defence. Not sure I understand what you're getting at.
nNorwich conceded 75 goals I think
We conceded 56 ,thats half a goal a game less
Not a lot
And yet we have what is on paper a god defence
Norwichs problems ran far deeper than bad CBs
As was pointed out
Attacking FBs who at times forgot their primary job
No defensive shield from the midfield
Forwards who rarely pressed and let the opposition set up attacks
Tactically naïve and PL inexperienced manager
I could practically guarantee you that we will not let in near as many goals this season even with the same defence because
We have a defensive shield
We have forwards who press
We have an astute manger

I like what you did there with the bolded bit :)

My own uniformed musings on the situation going forward
Keane first choice
Holgate second choice
Mina will be here for a couple more seasons
Godfrey competing with Holgate and Mina to partner Keane
With a compressed season and a hectic season plus hopefully a couple of good cup runs all 4 will get plenty of game time
Branthwaite will go on loan for 2 more seasons
If Godfrey works out then either Branthwaite or Gibson (if they work out )will be looking to take Mina's place and Mina will be sold
I do not think Carlo trusts him

I think that’s largely spot on. I’m a Holgate fanboy so for me he’s number one and Keane is so impressive right now he’s also penned in every game.. so aligned on one and two as a combo. We need Mina to keep James happy which is as good a reason as any! (jk)
But yeah he is the one to start to play less with everyone fit .

two years from now Keane might well be ready to take a step to the bench. Holgate 1, Godfrey 2, Keane + Branthwaite/ Gibson 3&4

I do get managers won’t take chances with defence and if I had two injuries I would most likely also go into the market.
