Honestly don't think he was that bad, I don't think anything of the defence were that bad defensively, there was no glaring errors bar Myko failing to get tight enough to stop the cross coming in

Godfrey played well yesterday apart from the goal but that's what is constantly costing us - individual mistakes.

That ball went right between Holgate and Godfrey. Their positioning was terrible and that's about 3rd or 4th goal where Godfreys positioning isn't acceptable as a centre half as he's seeing everything in front of him yet he's always 2 yards away from making a proper challenge.

But defensively it was a solid showing, though no surprise with having 3 centre halves.

He was solid yesterday apart from that one moment which unfortunately was pivotal. He just needs time with a defensive coach and he'll improve.

Seems fashionable on here to slate everyone though so carry on jumping on him.

He can't head a ball mate. Hes like a child trying to head the ball for the first time...closes his eyes and hopes it lands on his head.

Apart from their goal he did okay yesterday. Longer term i'm more concerned about his positioning skills than his heading ability which should be easier to teach. Not sure if it's his awareness or if he just doesn't seem to read the game that well but he's often out of position. Think maybe his pace has made up for that in the past but catching him out now with the quality of Premier league players he's facing.

Still hope he stays and improves though!

Nice to see someone not afraid to throw a tackle in, great to have his pace back to, left napping for the goal, lost his man, but only mistake he made, gutted that it cost us a goal.

I think he needs to play left back for the remainder of the season. Not reliable enough in the air for a cb but appreciate his commitment and one of the players who needs to be on the pitch to get us out of this.

Thought Godfrey did well and the defence was better for him coming in, could've been more than 1 goal without him
