He wasnt. Since he debut at fulham he's had errors in him.

For some reason people thought because he was quick and athletic he was good.

Virtualy a guarenteed 1 error leading to a goal a game.

Relegated with norwich conceding about 250 goals.

I know if a player is good or not. Give me 40k a year and I'd recruit better than we have recruited. I'm only half joking as well. I reckon most of us wouldn't do much worse.

Behave fella, Godfrey was solid under Ancelotti called up to the England squad as well.

He made a ton of mistakes. Some of us were saying it but far too many were too caught up with the odd slide tackle and insisted on over hyping a young player as normal. The consensus was I was wrong on him but I was right and the consensus was wrong.

He couldn't defend last year. He has regressed even further this year. If he plays centre half I'm pretty certain we will lose. I've not seen a player so inept in a positional sense at this level in many years.
