Been to football there a few times as well. Can’t recall exactly what had gone on but their bumblebee mascot was repeatedly and vociferously accused of being a pedo.

Hong Kong was a lot of fun; some seedy bits but what a lot to offer. God knows what it's like now with the protests and China's tightening grip.

that's what my sister said as well, she lived in Japan ~07-09 so the political climate in Hong Kong was a little different, she may not want to go back now.

I don't like cities.

Having said that, there isn't a city in the world I wouldn't mind looking around, so long as there were no people in it. So either some kind of exclusive visiting method, or global annihilation would be required.

Having said all that - if I had to choose which I liked most it would likely be Amsterdam. Largely because you could walk into the quiet, orderly old town from a ship.

London is the worst in every way.

Liverpool, because it's home. A lot of my family are still there . Can't explain that feeling when I get into the city from the airport. Big soppy git.
