I just watched the extended highlights, and Im super impressed. The way he left the doncaster defender in the dust for his goal was beautiful, and so was that immesely powerful header to the bar. Exited to see more of him.

It was like everyone else was playing in normal time and Beto was playing in Beto time.

The club need a powerful character that can cut through the malaise which has engulfed the club. A couple of moments and a big character in the dressing room could make a huge difference. He looks like a man of action rather than words. Here is too hoping.

You're right. His presence in dressing room could be as big as on pitch.

That dressing room must be such a weird, depressing place.

You'd expect your senior players to get a grip on things, they're like scared little boys.

I think DCL and Beto could be formidable if we can work a plan for them to play in the same team. But I also think Maupay could benefit. I think we have more options and formations to play with him in the team. He may miss a few chances but I think his presence will be key as is Calvert Lewins. We have to get the balance and chemistry right on the pitch and that’s the managers job. But I think also think Dyche hasn’t nailed a style yet but he will have a better chance to be flexible very soon. Then we can all judge him better.

It is very tough for a centre half to makethat type of difference but a striker is different. Goals win games. DCL gave us a mental shift at the end of last season but he has suffered a bit of scar tissue himself. This fella is coming in with a fresh slate and I’ve got a good feeling about him.

Unstoppable. Even going to Anfield won't bring any fear now this lad is in place along with players like Danjuma and maybe Harrison and DCL if available.

We look a totally different proposition to last season already. We battered Fulham and Wolves, just didn't have the finisher to put the chances away. Now we have and all bets are off.

Just watched the On the Road video from the club. He’s really trying to fire the team up at 1-1. Great to see that after only being an Everton player for about half an hour.
