Unstoppable. Even going to Anfield won't bring any fear now this lad is in place along with players like Danjuma and maybe Harrison and DCL if available.

We look a totally different proposition to last season already. We battered Fulham and Wolves, just didn't have the finisher to put the chances away.
I think we will set up away conservative but if we put DCL up the pitch that and defend well that will give a lot of food for tthought for the better teams away from home. But I do think we will have to tweak things tactically game to game.

I think DCL and Beto could be formidable if we can work a plan for them to play in the same team. But I also think Maupay could benefit. I think we have more options and formations to play with him in the team. He may miss a few chances but I think his presence will be key as is Calvert Lewins. We have to get the balance and chemistry right on the pitch and that’s the managers job. But I think also think Dyche hasn’t nailed a style yet but he will have a better chance to be flexible very soon. Then we can all judge him better.
would be something we should definately use some games. Dcl is good enough and smart enough to work in a two. Really excited after seeing him that 2nd half the strides on him is something onana should be doing pace, power and confident finish.

It was like everyone else was playing in normal time and Beto was playing in Beto time.

As impressive a debut as I can remember.
Not often I agree with you Dave, but it really was an excellent debut, even allowing for the standard of opposition.

It might even persuade that DCL out on 'the green' a bit quicker.
And then you go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like…. this.

Finally a striker, he looks a quality player on last night and I thought so from the clips. A big lad ariel threat, has pace and looks to be a big personality which is key as so many of our recent strikers have shrunk under the pressure of leading the line hopefully he can rise to it. We can't just rely on him for goals though we need others to weigh in a structure and some patterns of play which we didn't see until the second half yesterday.

Nicknamed him Beto the Bully if he can do that in the prem we are on a winner ;)

I spoke to my older brother tonight & saw Dave Hickson who was smaller & stockier, but he bullied his way through to score - when he put that blue shirt on his personality changed on the pitch even in training games he was rough to handle - he roughed up his own players in our defence - the club sold to the other lot - the outcry the club stated his disciplinary record him due to his match bans -, but then bought him back lol

We are all getting carried away but I focal point number 9 can really have a massive effect on the rest of the team. Knowing we have a threat up front makes it easier to defend, it makes it harder for the other team to commit bodies forward and all of players will run more to support attacks if the ball is sticking up front. It will improve our entire team exponentially and give all of us hope.
