On reflection I could have stated this about McNeil, Garner, Branthwaite, Harrison, Calvert Lewin… my frustration got the better of me and instead of doubling down like all triggered GOT posters like to do so much, I’m saying sorry to you Norberto Bercique Gomes Betuncal.

All those players, bar Harrison, were much younger than Beto when they joined Everton.

The lad up front for non league maidstone united today looked better than both beto and CL. Ran with the ball at his feet on the counter.. Took his goal superbly. If either of those two up front today had a clear run on goal i wouldnt be confident it ending up in the net. How is it a non league striker looked more composed than both of ours. I keep reading our strikers get no service. Thats not strictly true, though its not great. But that doesnt mean you should have strikers who never ever create anything themselves.
A forward line thats got 4 premier league goals between them is beyond excusable tbh.
