He's a play in behind the defence striker or a half decent arriver in the box type, but he's clumsy, no technical ability and can't hold up a ball or win flick ons.
But he's going to be our main striker for the rest of this season so let's get behind him I suppose because we ain't singing anyone better to replace him with during this window.

Beto isn’t anywhere near good enough. Seems like a likeable, hard working player, which in modern times for Everton fans means he’s more likeable than the vast majority of players, as we’ve got used to hating them (bar a few) but the fact will always remain that he’s absolutely rubbish. There’s no future that has Everton doing “well” where Beto is constantly involved.

There’s a reason for that. He’s clearly not performing in training and that’s very important. Often dismissed, but over the years Everton fans have seen many players come and not play, almost all of them there’s been a clamour from the fans for these players to be “given a chance” and all of them were never good enough. Klassen, Kroldrup, Niasse and there will be others I’ve forgotten. It’s certainly an ongoing theme, poor players signed who don’t player and somehow their reputation improves. For all the ills of our varying managers, it’s very rare that a player doesn’t play and then somehow actually seems to be good enough for another manager, although there are exceptions, like Doucoure with Lampard, but Lampard was garbage and now the majority of us are fed up of Doucoure.
