With our squad dropping like flies in preseason and no one worthy of replacing them at most positions, it's got to be injuries.

I didn't write off last season early, I posed the question that - given the dropping of crucial early points - whether we might use last season as a "fallow" season, to bring in younger players and try and get on top of the Moyes legacy of an ageing first team core.

Actually that's what Martinez did a bit toward the end of the season and this preseason - blooding the likes of Garbutt, Galloway and Browning with a lot of game time.

This season we have no EL distraction and have the capability to regain our footing in the top 6-8.
Browning came on as a sub for the derby and wasn't seen again and Galloway only played because of Garbutt's contractual situation.

The danger of finishing below the redshite.

That's a clever name you have their mate.

I think the chances are we will finish below the RS, after all they have spunked another 80m this summer so I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish 5th and us 6th.

Can you imagine being a Kopite, knowing Brenda has jizzed about 300m on pure dross and still doesn't seem any nearer to winning a trophy. Always makes me laugh that lol
