The narrative will be of a martyr either way, when a successor who ends up genuinely improving all aspects of the club to a substantial and successful level he will be hailed as the one who opened the door, if not, his reign here will be the “to all those haters thanks, now look at us”.

Not falling for it, some like to push the narrative people hate him no matter what. Not me, i just don’t like him personally, dislike, not hate. The thing is , it’s in my interest as a Blue, for him to do as well as possible and I don’t think his reign has been great. I don’t care if he’s a blue either, you can only use that so much, there is fellow Evertonians I like and dislike too.

Almost every televised game, there is an emotional pre-match tribute to someone/event (most recent one excluded as it was league wide) or a watery eyed half-time introduction of a past player/boxer/cricket teams even. We are an outlier compared to all other clubs with this type of theatrics. Has to be emanating from the impressario.
We are a football club. Focus ALL energies on that and leave the genuine charitable work to EITC and can the un-necessary signalling. We do seem to have our eye off the ball on this.

A football club is not there just for what happens on the pitch. Or it shouldn't be anyway.

I think we are looking way to deeply into stuff here, we are not crap because we are too nice or because we have some perceived theatrics. We are crap because we have average players, a massively unbalanced squad and have had a succession of flawed managers.

The majority of clubs do the former players/emotional bits, and there is an increasing use of the 'applause at a given time' event, at all grounds.. With no disrespect to the subject of the applause, but at GP on Sunday it happened when we were defending a corner, and we all know the danger in that situation!

The thing I find annoying is the safety announcements to sit down and Operation Goodison. I get they need to be done but do they have to do them when we are defending a corner for example. I find them distracting when watching it on telly for example so god knows what its like on the pitch.

You'll see him hogging the limelight once again if we somehow are able to take a point off Liverpool in December. Apart from that, sheer silence. Speaks volumes really.

It only speaks volumes if you are selectively listening for it.

If only we had an owner who could be blamed instead of Kenwright who has not been in charge for years now.

Oh wait..we do!

There's planety of balme to go around for the state of the club and this moron is as accountable as anyone. Years and years worth stripping away all standards and expectations from this club have done unbelievable damage. You wonder why the players can't be arsed? Look no further then our chairman who is the living embodiment of faliure and mediocrity.

Ask yourselves this? Would you honestly go that extra mile in work to make somthing great when you know that your bosses will just shrug off endless grabge providing you achived the bare minimum requirement for them (in our clubs case, staying up) and keep on paying you stupid money? You might start out trying to but when all your colleges who've been there for years and years cant be arsed you'd just give up.

The disgusting attitude we see in the pitch from the players comes from the top of this club and the main culprits in this are Moshiri and Kenwright.

Kenwright’s Tenure has been a stain on the once proud traditions of this great club.

He should step down with immediate effect and take Silva with him.

We are heading for oblivion... and no, I still don’t believe the stadium will happen. It’s taking far too long to get sorted, it’s been going on longer than one of bills theatre productions!
