Its not so much people are backing him, they are correctly pointing out he isnt responsible for the current mess, Moshiri is, Bill sold a club to him that he had in a stable place, who often had European football....etc who stood by managers, and Moshiri went onto destroy it.
Oh come on, he got lucky, appointed David Moyes and left him to it on a budget of £5 million a season at most. He was close to appointing Gary Megson when Walter Smith stepped in.

I genuinely think his heart is in the right place.
I think he did great work with Hillsboro remembrance and the Justice campaign.
Players and coaches all seem to like him and the passion he has for the club.
Sometimes when I see corporate chairmen with no affection for their club, I think we're fortunate to have him.
But all that said. I don't think he should be in the position to make any important calls about the running of the club.
It's verging on shocking mismanagement at this point.
100% bang on!

The man he bought to the club, really i wish he hadnt, its a shame he didn't hang on, Moshiri turned up when the TV money did, a total con artist with zero interest in Everton playing with Usmanovs money, no wonder Stan Kroenke wouuldnt let him have a say at Arsenal
He turned up when Green pulled out, a point which you conveniently ignore time and again because it exposes yet another of Kenwright's porkies.

It has been reported on numerous occasions that kenwright has still been involved in activities at the club. As soon as last summer he was off negotiating transfers from the mouth of moshiri.

It's pretty much an either or scenario. Either kenwright hasn't been involved at all and is at no fault. Or he has been involved due to moshiri not being directly here 24/7 and saw kenwright as an experienced hand.

For what it's worth , it was well considered the reason why we had Walsh allardyce and the little rat here at the same time was down to bills influence. Not that it was ever officially confirmed.

There is an interview with Dan Meis who says that during the design and development of BMD it was Kenwright who he dealt with. Not just that but the club is littered with his cronies from DBB to Dunc to Unsworth and many others throughout the club.

"and the little rat here" who is the rat?

Also Bills influecnce, you name Allardyce, which was a fine appointment at the time and a totally stupid sacking too by Moshiri

Well precisely that is why he is to blame for this mess, he could have sold to Mansoor hes admitted this, he the man is a disgrace and has made of fortune out of our demise he should hang his head in shame..

Kenwright has presided over the longest trophy-less period in the clubs history. A period where we not only hired Allardyce, but FSW also. Relegation would be the icing on the cake.

Moshiri obviously has had a huge hand in our demise but Kenwright is the constant. Kenwright also brought him in.

Everything about him is so amateur. People say he has the clubs interests at heart. If he had a bit of self awareness and stepped away that really would be having the clubs interest at heart.

So yet another year is guaranteed to tick by without a trophy with Kenwright as Chairman.

I must have forgot these 'good times' he patronisingly told us about the other week.

He doesn't care about success, all he's arsed about is keeping his beloved Chairman's seat and being seen as Mr Everton. The day his influence ends at the club just can't come soon enough.

All we can hope for is whoever the board is after this lot, is considerably better than now because if it isn’t, the media allies will really ramp up the yarn tales of this current lot totally refusing to acknowledge no one is infallible or lives forever and the club has to move on at some point.

They are so predictable in their tactics it’s laughable.

Bit it's not Kenwright watch, and hasn't been for 6 years, when we go down it will be on Moshiri.

Kenwright is still the Chairman.... so by definition he is either complicit in the process or a complete waste of space as a chairman. He sold his shares to Moshiri, so again by definition he is solely responsible for the new owner, he has also been chairman throughout the process whereby Moshiri has steadily increased his equity.

Inappropriate Language

People say he has the clubs best interest at heart, that doesn't ring true for me, they usually say follow the money and you'll get your answer well hes made his money and whole lot of money it is too I think he likes the idea of being here when the stadiums built as his legacy and to cap it all I,m sure he would be able to get a stand named after him. This would be truly gauling for those of us who've been on to him from the start. For me it was the NTL [Poor language removed] up!!
