Is it still not known who actually wrote the statement, who posted it etc?

I don't mean the collective group. But who are the individuals behind it. As you said you can't call for transparency and be faceless and nameless at the same time.

As i said before there was alot of positives of the fan base pulling together against the board but mis-steps such as that statement creates division and could split the fanbase again and thats counter productive to what we need right now.

As much as Kenwrights response was a delusional disaster it was a reponse to the All Toegther Now movements disaster of a statement and that seemed to be acknowledged as they pulled it quite quickly as far as I'm aware.

Good post mate, agree largely.

I think numbers have been dwindling in terms of March nos etc in recent home games, i suspect the group were refocusing the effort and trying to do something to refortify- but was poorly judged and i think alienated a few. On the other hand - for weeks they have been cirtising the board for not communicating, Kenwright realses a statement, admittedly ill judged and mad and he should have and then they lept on him for communicating - they just react, there is no strategy to it. Its all taking lumps of each other and self abuse - fine - but the focus needs to be on the pitch and staying up.

Where do we end up - in the middle of a relegation fight? Where we were last January when they were all taking lumps of each other and the atmosphere was so toxic not a player in Europe wanted to join us and half our team wanted out. We need to put aside the public manure until the summer, everyone can do their thing until then (protest/stay away from home games what ever) - the only thing that matters now is the fight for our lives.

It doesn't have a governance structure as far as I'm aware. There are no chair or committee. Rightly they dismissed the Fans Forum as a cat's paw for the board...but offered no structure themselves...unlike groups in the past like EitC and Blue Union. The strategy just seems to be to launch a guerrilla campaign on social media and share it with a loose confederation of similar groups. No debate no rigour, no nothing.

The only thing that matters to me is Everton's top flight status. That's paramount. I dont think that's the case for that movement's hierarchy.

That is completely untrue Dave. If you did some proper research first you would know that.

But what is change mate - change is a subjective concept without a concreate objective, stategy or pathway - if i want Moshiri out -- why would i support Alltogther as they just want the board out - and dont put a hand on the owner. And how far are you willing to go to get it, i mean where's your limit - are personal details fair game? Where and what actions do you draw the line with, who is going to decide - because at the moment its anonymouys and how far personally would draw the line - i mean why didnt the leaders of alltogthernow put their necks on the line and personally call Kenwright out on his health ground on their individual feeds - if they felt it was appropriate to put it out in the public domain - where they afraid of legal recourse - would you do it?

Again this falls back to the binary, if you want change - you have to support Alltogehternow and all they do - you dont. You can want change (objective) and not be happy with a movement that releases personal health details being lobbed at individual in a professional capacity over twitterspace and in the national media.
I am not a member of any group and don't need any group to tell me the obvious, which is that all of them have failed. That's Moshiri, Kenwright, and the board collectively. I think they all need to go and let others have a go. I don't think half hearted changes are close to enough.

I don't know who these group are or who is in charge, nor am I really bothered. Not sure we even need them. But I am an Evertonian and I know the groundswell of opinion within Everton fans, and I know what is best for Everton as a football club. I only care about one movement, Everton. And the fans have never been more united in wanting changes.

Change to me is new ownership, who will bring in a new board of directors and new strategic decision makers. A boardroom reshuffle is not change.

Kenwright is the ringmaster, Dave.

There is NEVER a good time to pressure him. There is ALWAYS a reason to hold off, wait, defer. We've been deferring for 24 years.

The main singular reason the club is fighting relegation is...Chairman Bill.

This season's relegation battle is simply that - a battle. The war will never be won as long as Chairman Bill remains in situ, dousing the club in his putrid cologne of managed decline with alluring hints of fragrant, overly-sweet sentimentality.
Exactly. Let's not pretend that Moshiri isn't without blame, but in reality we all can infer that he isn't really a football man: he's the banker; for me, he's naive.

On the other hand, Kenwrong, as our self-proclaimed football man, has been at this job for a long-time, yet the record under his tenure is pretty damming.

It is he who went against the Blue Union over DK; it is he who has claimed we've had good times; it isn't Moshiri who penned a farcical, inflammatory letter.

You can't put this and all the other shenanigans down to inexperience or naivety. What you can put it down to is that he's an egotistical bellend, in it for himself.

The common denominator in all this, over the past three and more decades, is Bill. "He's big, he's fat, he's a bit of a tw..." comes to mind.

Agree but is not to late, yes should have been done earlier but the longer we dont get change at this club the more the club will be stuck in the past. The fight for relegation is the reason that we have held back after the protest. Will be alot more pressure after this season, i hope we can stay up and all remember what this board has done
Those who support the board use the timing argument as a convenient excuse. There will never be a right time for them. They weren't happy with protests during the off season and moaned about timing.

What matters most in the short term is staying up, but we are rearranging the deck chairs until major strucutral changes are made to how the club is ran. If we stay up this year, then we go down next year, or the one after. Unless we make the changes we need.

If you two actually did some research you would know that the first step towards governance at Everton Football Club :

Is to reestablish existing governance structures at the club that Bill Kenwright and Denise Barrett Baxendale have systematically dismantled.

Such as the Everton FC Annual General Meeting reinstatement - that the board had cancelled

In addition to any new structures like the FAB etc that the board are not engaging with properly

So please get your facts straight before making these types of statements

I think he will only go when a media savvy journalist gets on board with the protesters. Then every single error, deceit and poor decision can be laid out with pundits onside.

He will leap on every thing to paint Evertonians as toxic and the fault of them being 17th.

Last night or the night before. Danny decided his wummery had gone too far, so he's been sent on a holiday.
Should've gone for wanting us to be relegated so he could go to Wembley in the event that we were in the play offs to get promoted. The weapon doesn't even support the notion of automatic promotion!o_O

My worry is that Moshiri is so detached from the club that he may neither know nor care what Billy Liar says.

The guy didn't get rich by throwing away money. He still owns an asset with immense potential, he just picked the wrong custodian. Hopefully this board will be swept clean soon. The amount of times Kenwright has belittled this club over the years I'm astonished it's taken this long for fans to see it.

Like with most of those looking to catch a few, I always took what he said with a pinch of salt. The difference was that people like Dave do it well... he didn't.
